Ingredients
- 17g medium-dark roast coffee beans, freshly ground
- 2 fresh figs, halved
- 1 tsp honey
- 1/4 tsp orange blossom water
- 200ml hot water (195°F/90°C)
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Halve the figs and drizzle with honey. Place them cut-side up under the broiler for 3-4 minutes until caramelized
- Grind your coffee beans to a medium-fine consistency
- Set up your AeroPress in the standard position with a paper filter
- Add the ground coffee to the AeroPress
- Mash one caramelized fig half and add to the grounds
- Pour in half the hot water and stir gently
- Add remaining water and let steep for 1 minute
- Press slowly over 30 seconds
- Add orange blossom water and a tiny pinch of salt
- Garnish with remaining caramelized fig halves
