Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons medium-roast coffee beans, coarsely ground
- 2 cups hot water (195-205°F)
- 1 inch fresh ginger, thinly sliced
- 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
- 4 Medjool dates, pitted
- 1/4 cup hot water (for date syrup)
- Pinch of black pepper (optional)
Instructions
- For the date syrup: Blend pitted dates with hot water until smooth. Strain and set aside.
- Add ground coffee, sliced ginger, and turmeric to your French press.
- Pour hot water over the coffee mixture and stir gently.
- Place the plunger on top and let steep for 4 minutes.
- Slowly press down the plunger.
