- Coffee grinder
- Small shaker or milk frother
- Scale
- Kettle
- Tall glass
Ingredients
- 18g medium-dark roast coffee beans
- 200ml hot water (195°F/90°C)
- 4-5 fresh Thai basil leaves
- 2 tablespoons sweetened condensed milk
- Ice cubes
- 30ml cold water (for foam)
Instructions
- Grind coffee beans to a fine consistency
- Set up your AeroPress in the inverted position
- Add ground coffee and gently muddle 2 Thai basil leaves with the grounds
- Pour hot water and stir gently
- Let steep for 1 minute
- Attach filter and flip onto a glass filled with ice
- Press slowly
- Mix condensed milk with cold water and shake vigorously to create foam
- Pour the foam over the coffee
- Garnish with remaining Thai basil leaves
