- Small piece of birchwood

Ingredients
- 17g medium-dark roast coffee beans
- 200ml filtered water at 185°F
- 2 tsp maple crystals
- 1 tbsp pine nuts, toasted
- 1 small piece of birchwood for smoking
Instructions
- Heat birchwood chip with a torch until smoking lightly
- Place ground coffee in AeroPress and quickly cover with smoking birchwood chip for 30 seconds
- Remove chip and add 200ml hot water to the smoked grounds
- Stir gently and let steep for 1 minute
- Press coffee into your cup
- Add maple crystals and stir until dissolved
