Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons coarsely ground coffee
- 2 cups hot water (200°F)
- 1 cup fresh blackberries
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/4 cup honey
- 4 fresh sage leaves
- Ice cubes
- Fresh blackberries and sage leaves for garnish
Instructions
- For the blackberry-sage syrup: Combine blackberries, water, honey, and sage leaves in a small saucepan
- Bring to a simmer over medium heat, then reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes
- Remove from heat, strain, and let cool
- Brew coffee in French press using hot water and let steep for 4 minutes
- Press plunger down slowly
- Fill two glasses with ice
