Ingredients
- 4 oz bourbon barrel-aged coffee beans, coarsely ground
- 4 cups cold filtered water
- 1 cup pecans, chopped
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup water (for syrup)
- 1/4 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/4 tsp salt
- Ice cubes for serving
- Cream or milk (optional)
Instructions
- Combine ground coffee with 4 cups cold water in a large jar
- Steep in refrigerator for 16 hours
- Strain coffee through a fine-mesh sieve lined with cheesecloth
- Toast pecans in a dry pan until fragrant
- Combine brown sugar and 1/2 cup water in a saucepan, bring to boil
