- Fine-mesh strainer

Ingredients
- 1 cup coarse ground medium-dark roast coffee
- 4 cups cold filtered water
- 6 fresh figs, quartered
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 vanilla bean, split and scraped
- Splash of cream or milk alternative (optional)
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Combine coarse ground coffee with cold water in a large jar. Stir gently and refrigerate for 16 hours.
- For the fig syrup, combine quartered figs, honey, and vanilla bean seeds in a small saucepan. Cook over medium heat for 10-15 minutes until figs are caramelized.
- Remove from heat and let cool. Blend until smooth and strain through a fine-mesh sieve.
- Strain cold brew through a paper filter twice.
- In each glass, combine 1/2 cup cold brew concentrate with 1/2 cup cold water and 2 tablespoons fig syrup.
