Ingredients
- 40g dark roast coffee beans, coarsely ground
- 500ml hot water (200°F/93°C)
- 240ml heavy cream
- 2 fresh pine sprigs (about 4-inches each)
- 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
Instructions
- Heat cream in a small saucepan until just simmering. Remove from heat.
- Add pine sprigs to the cream, cover, and let steep for 10 minutes.
- Strain the cream and refrigerate until completely cool.
- Grind coffee beans to a coarse consistency.
- Add ground coffee to preheated French press.
- Pour hot water over grounds, stir gently.
- Let steep for 4 minutes.
- Press plunger down slowly.
