Ingredients

  • 40g medium-dark roast organic coffee beans
  • 2 tablespoons organic cocoa powder
  • 2 teaspoons raw honey
  • 500ml filtered water
  • Optional: splash of organic whole milk

Instructions

  1. Heat filtered water to 200°F (93°C)
  2. Grind coffee beans to medium-coarse consistency
  3. Rinse Chemex filter with hot water and discard rinse water
  4. Add ground coffee to filter
  5. Pour 60g water for blooming and wait 30 seconds
  6. Continue pouring water in circular motion until reaching 500ml
  7. Mix cocoa powder with 2 tablespoons of hot coffee until smooth
  8. Add honey to cocoa mixture and stir
  9. Pour remaining coffee into cups and add chocolate mixture
