Ingredients
- 17g medium-dark roast coffee beans, ground for AeroPress
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 3 fresh sage leaves
- 8 oz hot water (175°F/80°C)
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Brown butter in a small saucepan over medium heat until golden and fragrant, about 3 minutes
- Add sage leaves to the brown butter and remove from heat. Let infuse for 1 minute, then remove sage
- Set up your AeroPress in the inverted position
- Add ground coffee to the AeroPress
- Pour 1 tablespoon of the sage-infused brown butter over the grounds
- Add hot water to the AeroPress up to the '2' mark
- Stir gently for 10 seconds
- Attach the filter and cap
- Let steep for 1 minute
- Flip and press slowly into your cup
- Add a pinch of salt and stir gently
