Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons bourbon barrel-aged coffee beans, coarsely ground
- 1 Madagascar vanilla bean, split lengthwise
- 16 oz filtered water
- Optional: brown sugar or maple syrup to taste
Instructions
- Split vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape out seeds
- Coarsely grind the bourbon barrel-aged coffee beans
- Place ground coffee and vanilla bean (pod and seeds) in filter
- Heat filtered water to 200°F (93°C)
- Pour hot water over grounds in a circular motion
- Allow to brew for 4 minutes
- Remove filter and vanilla bean pod
- Serve hot, adding sweetener if desired
