Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons light to medium roast coffee beans, freshly ground
- 12 oz filtered water, heated to 200°F
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/4 teaspoon dried culinary lavender
- 1/2 vanilla bean
- Pinch of sea salt
Instructions
- Split vanilla bean lengthwise and toast in a dry pan until fragrant (about 1 minute)
- Heat water to 200°F (93°C)
- Place pour-over dripper on your cup and insert filter
- Rinse filter with hot water and discard rinse water
- Add ground coffee to filter
- Pour a small amount of hot water over grounds to bloom (30 seconds)
- Gradually pour remaining water in circular motion
- While coffee brews, warm honey slightly
- Add honey, crushed lavender, and scraped vanilla bean to the cup
- Once coffee is done brewing, stir gently and let steep for 1 minute
