Ingredients
- 18g dark roast coffee, finely ground
- 2 oz dark chocolate (70% cocoa), chopped
- 1 cup whole milk
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/8 tsp chili powder
- 1 pinch sea salt
- Whipped cream (optional)
- Cocoa powder for dusting (optional)
Instructions
- Fill the bottom chamber of your moka pot with hot water up to the valve
- Add finely ground coffee to the filter basket, don't tamp
- In a small saucepan, warm milk over medium heat with chocolate, cinnamon, chili powder, and salt
- While milk is warming, assemble moka pot and brew coffee over medium heat
- Whisk milk mixture until chocolate is completely melted and mixture is smooth
- Once coffee is done brewing, combine with spiced chocolate milk mixture
