Ingredients
- 18g medium-dark roast coffee beans
- 200ml hot water (195°F/90°C)
- 2 tablespoons persimmon puree (from 1 ripe Fuyu persimmon)
- 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- 1/2 cup cold whole milk
- 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
Instructions
- Grind coffee beans to a fine-medium consistency
- Blend or mash ripe persimmon until smooth
- Set up AeroPress in standard position with filter
- Add ground coffee, cinnamon, and nutmeg to AeroPress
- Pour hot water over grounds and stir gently
- After 1 minute, press slowly
- Stir persimmon puree into brewed coffee
- Froth cold milk with maple syrup until foamy
- Top coffee with maple foam and a sprinkle of cinnamon
