Ingredients
- 18g medium-roast coffee beans, freshly ground
- 200ml hot water (200°F/93°C)
- 1 medium blood orange, juiced
- 1 whole star anise pod
- Ice cubes
- Blood orange slice for garnish
Instructions
- Set up your AeroPress in the inverted position with a paper filter
- Add freshly ground coffee to the AeroPress
- Pour hot water over the grounds and stir gently
- Let steep for 1 minute
- While coffee steeps, juice the blood orange
- Fill a tall glass with ice cubes
- After steeping, attach filter cap and flip AeroPress onto your glass
- Press slowly to extract coffee
- Add blood orange juice and stir
- Add star anise pod and let infuse for 1 minute, then remove
